Abstract Submission Update

Important Update: Regular Abstract Submission Deadline 

AAI is aware of the many challenges impacting our members, the immunological enterprise, and the wider scientific community. Between grant freezes, funding terminations, delayed grant reviews, and government shutdowns, AAI’s community has never faced such uncertainty and disruption. 

AAI’s mission is to improve global health and well-being by advancing immunological science and supporting scientists through knowledge dissemination, community building, advocacy, and public outreach. To ensure everyone has access to opportunities for scientific collaboration and networking, AAI is opening a second round of Regular Abstract submissions December 2 – 16, 2025. 

Submitting a Regular Abstract give you the opportunity to present your research at IMMUNOLOGY2026™. All abstracts undergo a rigorous evaluation process to ensure the quality, relevance, and the originality of the presentations to be given at IMMUNOLOGY2026™. Accepted abstracts will be presented as either a Major Symposium, Block or Poster presentation. Approximately 18-20% of all submissions receive an invitation to present a podium presentation. 

There will also be a Late-Breaking Abstract submission period open January 15 – 22, 2026. Late-breaking abstracts are eligible for poster presentation only.
