The MCEC is conveniently located just minutes away from Boston’s major highways and is easily accessible from Boston’s Logan Airport (8 minute taxi ride) as well as South Station (serves MBTA Subway, Bus, and Commuter Rail lines).

Yes, there are several convenient charging stations with USB connections and power. There are also house phones located throughout the MCEC which are available for complimentary local and toll-free calls. Just dial “9” to get an outside line.
Yes, there is a full-service FedEx Office Business Center. It is located in the NW Lobby A (outside of Exhibit Hall A) Services available include copying, printing, scanning, purchasing office supplies, shipping a package, or creating and printing signage.
Yes, there are three ATM locations within the MCEC:
- Summer Street Main Entrance Lobby, Level 1, North Lobby, near the Registration Desk.
- Northwest Level 1 near the Food Court and Bar
- Exhibit Hall, Southeast Level 0, near Room 050.
Yes, the MCEC is entirely accessible and designed according to ADA requirements and beyond. A limited number of wheelchairs are available free-of-charge through the First Aid Station. Golf carts are also available for rides to locations inside the building.
Yes, there are multiple family restrooms throughout the MCEC.
Transportation Agents at the MCEC are available to assist you with parking, hailing you a cab, providing the best routes to your next location, and more. These agents are stationed outside the facility wearing bright yellow shirts. The Transportation Information Booth, located inside the MCEC, offers transportation information, including subway maps and bus routes.

Self-parking ($35/car and $70/oversized vehicle (as of 8/19/25) is available at the MCEC. From Summer Street, turn onto East Side Drive, drive past the valet area, and continue straight along the side of the building. At the end of the building, make a right and go down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left and you will see the entrance to the South Parking lot in front of you. Accessible parking spaces are also located in this lot.

On-site registration is located in the North Lobby, just inside the Main Entrance (Summer Street) of the MCEC.
The Speaker Ready Room is located on Meeting Level 2, Meeting Room 252AB.
All speakers are required to check in at the SRR at a minimum of four (4) hours prior to their presentation time. You will need to upload the most recent version of their presentation to confirm it is working properly. More details will be sent with invitations to present.
There is one Mamava at the MCEC located on Meeting Level 1, SE Lobby C, near the Women’s Restroom.
Registration
Early registration will be open December 17, 2025–March 13, 2026. After this date, regular registration will be available through April 14, 2026. On-site registration will be available April 15-19, 2026.

No, there are no meals included.
The cost of the hotel accommodation and travel is not included in the registration fee. Attendees are responsible for their own accommodations and travel costs. Please visit the hotels page to secure the best rates.
No, membership is not required to register and attend the meeting. However, AAI members have access to discounted registration rates. Renew your membership of join AAI now.
Yes, you must register and pay the registration fee to present your abstract at the meeting. The abstract submission fee is a separate, nonrefundable fee and does not include registration to the meeting.
A Letter of Invitation template will be in your meeting registration confirmation. Letters will not be provided until you are fully registered for the meeting. If you find that your visa application is denied, you will be fully refund once you provide us with the documentation denying your application.
It is permitted for a meeting registrant to be substituted. If the substitute’s registration fee is less than the original registrant’s, the difference will be refunded. If the substitute’s registration fee is more, the registration will be held until the balance is paid and the original registrant submits the substitute’s contact information with written request for substitution. Please send substitution requests to meetings@aai.org by Wednesday, March 13, 2026. No substitution requests will be processed onsite and refunds will not be issued for no-shows.

Your meeting registration payment can be paid with a credit card or bank transfer (transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender). If you wish to pay by check, please reach out to meetings@aai.org for a physical registration form.

If you cancel by 11:59 PM ET, March 13, 2026 you will be refunded half of the registration fee. Any monies paid for tickets to events will be refunded at face value, There will be NO refunds after March 13, 2026. To cancel, please email meetings@aai.org with your badge number and name.
General Questions
Children aged 13 and older are welcome to attend IMMUNOLOGY2026™ if accompanied by a registered adult. Children under the age of 13* may not attend and are prohibited from entry into the Exhibit Hall, session rooms, or hallways in the meeting area. Children are not allowed to attend any social events.
*Babies under age 1 who are being carried or in a baby carrier (i.e., baby sling; no car seats/strollers will be permitted) may accompany their parent/guardian in the Exhibit Hall only. Babies may not be placed on the floor or left unattended.
There will not be a childcare room on-site. AAI will be providing some financial support to parents with $500 childcare grant. This option allows for AAI to support more families. You will be able to indicate your interest in receiving one of the grants when registering for the meeting.
Anyone attending the meeting to attend any sessions or visit the Exhibit Hall must be a registered attendee. Guest tickets are available for purchase to attend the IMMUNOLOGY2026™ Gala. You may purchase one for you and for your guest when registering for the meeting. You can purchase tickets for the Gala after you have registered by revisiting your registration. A link to access your registration can be found in the confirmation email which was sent to you after you completed your registration.
The weather in Boston can be very cold even in April.
The dress code at our events is business casual for all participants. Meeting rooms can get chilly so we recommend layers for your comfort.
If you have a disability or additional needs that may impact your participation in IMMUNOLOGY2026™, check the appropriate box when registering and describe your needs. AAI Staff will contact you before the meeting to discuss your needs. AAI cannot ensure the availability of appropriate accommodation without prior notification of need.
Attendees are prohibited from photographing and recording (audio or video) scientific sessions, including posters. Violators will be asked to delete photographs or recordings and may risk expulsion from the meeting.
Please note: During poster hours, if you have the permission of the author, you may take photographs of a poster. Authors are permitted to photograph their own posters.

AAI does not rent, share, or sell attendee’s emails or physical address to any third parties or list brokers. Please do not engage with the sender. We encourage you instead to block the sender, delete the email, and report scammers to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission fraud division.
